Marcus Rashford has yet to play this season following shoulder surgery following the European Championships this summer.
Marcus Rashford is back to training
The England international scored twice in a closed friendly on Wednesday as the Man Utd striker stepped up his injury recovery. In a friendly against the Blackburn Rovers at Man Utd’s training camp, England played and scored a double, which will boost Solskjaer. Marcus has yet to play a role this season following shoulder surgery after the European Championship, but has stepped up his training in recent weeks and returned to contact training ahead of Man Utd’s game against Everton.
Man Utd visited Leicester in their first game back since the international break on October 16 and Solskjær has already identified this as a potential comeback for Marcus Rashford. Ole Gunnar Solskjær said last week that he hopes he will be deployed against Leicester. Marcus was in training, he worked very hard, joining the group as a floater, no knocks or contact.
Today was the first day he could be dealt with and it is happening and they will hope Marcus gets his powers and finds his moves early on, and there are many reasons why he might be involved against Lester. After playing against Blackburn, Marcus Rashford wrote that it was so good to get a few minutes under his belt today.
Marcus will be back better than ever
Marcus’ return to the friendly will kickstart Ole, and Henderson, who also played against Blackburn, has been talking about his team mate’s sharpness in training lately. The goalkeeper told the club media that it’s funny because Marcus Rashford looks so sharp since he came back from a shoulder injury and everything from last season. Dean Henderson thinks he carried a few knocks. So to get Marcus back, he looks back for the best and Dean is very happy to see him there. Dean thinks he will help the team a lot.
Henderson thinks he was clearly dumped at a young age and didn’t get a mental break to switch. Marcus Rashford will be hungrier than ever to go back and play again. Henderson honestly thinks sometimes that a break is great. It helped Dean this summer and he is sure it helped him. the goalkeeper thinks he will come back better than ever.
