Man Utd Greenwood striker has selected Fulham’s Joe Bryan as his toughest opponent of his career to date.

What did Mason Greenwood say?

Mason has wreaked havoc on the country’s defense since the hacking of United’s top roster in 2019, and has also played a major role in the Champions League and has become a full-fledged high-profile England international. The 19-year-old has set his wits against some of the world’s best center-times and backs during this time, but he claims Joe Bryan gave him his toughest test since the Red Devils faced Fulham last season.

To name the toughest opponent he faced, Mason Greenwood told United’s official website that it was a good question. I guess Greenwood has to say that this might be amazing, but do you know Joe Bryan, one of the Fulham? According to Mason, Joe gave him no space or time for the ball when they played them at home and away. It was one of the hardest games for them to play.

Joe is one of those people who probably didn’t think Greenwood would say his name, but Joe was close to Mason and didn’t give him much space. Joe was a good defender and was probably Greenwood’s hardest challenge.

Mason Greenwood and Joe Bryan

Mason Greenwood first faced Joe Bryan when the Red Devils toured Craven Cottage on January 21, with the Ole Gunnar side eventually emerging with a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani.  Joe managed to keep Mason Greenwood quiet on the right wing and the teen cut an upset figure when he was eventually driven behind Rashford in the 85th minute.

The two teams met again at Old Trafford in May, and Cavani doubled his tally against the Cottagers with a superb long-range shot to set United on their way to victory with just 15 minutes on the clock. However, Mason Greenwood put out another subdued show as he tried to get the best out of Joe, who exacerbated his misery by going home with a dramatic late EQ.

Mason Greenwood’s activities at United

Mason Greenwood made 109 appearances for United in all competitions, scoring 29 goals. The forward has also recorded ten assists and is expected to reach even greater heights in 2021-22 as Ole Gunnar’s team strives to bring their five-year trophy drought to an end.
