The French giants must win and hope Lille rolls over in the last game of the season to seal another league title.

Mauricio Pochettino – you always have to believe in football

Mauricio Pochettino says his absence from Ligue 1 will not make PSG’s season a failure. Paris Saint-Germain points lag behind the Lille leaders heading into the final game of the season. The capital club should beat Brest and hope Lille fails to beat the Angers on Sunday. The French giants won the Coupe de France mid-week but crashed out of the Champions League in the semi-finals, and Mauricio Pochettino admits it would be a shame to end the campaign with just one trophy. Mauricio told reporters that it is always a big disappointment for a team like Paris Saint-Germain’s, which participates in all competitions, not to win. This would be more of a disappointment or disappointment than a failure. The word failure is very strong. Mauricio also said that you always have to believe in football. This is a principle that they still have and they think that anything can happen, but they should already win and be ready if Lille does not win at Angers. According to Pochettino, they go there with the motivation and the desire to believe in it and they work for this in the best possible way.

What else did Mauricio say

Mauricio Pochettino took charge at Paris Saint-Germain in January and oversaw 33 matches. They won 23 and lost seven in all competitions and the coach is happy with how his side performed. Mauricio added that this is an atypical year, with special characteristics and they all suffered from it, with injuries and matches every three days, but they want to end with this title. They were in the Champions League semi-finals, disappointingly not making it to the final, but the group drew great strength from it. They are happy with what the players have done.
