Several former Premier League stars who have seen their opportunities at the club dry up are among the long list of players on the French champions who may leave the Parc des Princes this summer.

Ander Herrera, a former midfielder for Manchester United, and Mauro Icardi, a striker, are two of the 12 players Paris Saint-Germain is putting up for sale this summer.

The Parc des Princes has officially welcomed Luis Campos as a Football Advisor, and the Portuguese national can expect a very busy first transfer window in the French city.

In order to renew the present team as per president Nasser Al-instructions, Khelaifi’s he has reportedly already compiled a huge list of players who would be shown the exit door this summer.

Alphonse Areola, who will soon sign a permanent contract with West Ham United after spending last season on loan at the London Stadium, is one of them. After joining Ligue 1 rivals OGC Nice, his colleague goalkeeper Marcin Bulka is expected to follow him out the door.

Sergio Rico, a former Fulham loanee, does not seem to have a future in Paris either and will be the third goalkeeper to say farewell.

It is intended that Thilo Kehrer, Adbou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye, and Arnaud Kalimuendo will all contribute significantly to the Parc des Princes. Leandro Paredes and Herrera, both on lucrative contracts who have stated their desire to stay, are also from Argentina and play midfield.

Then there is former Inter Milan striker Icardi, who lost out to Mauricio Pochettino and has appezred to be a shell of his former self in Paris. Icardi hasn’t played much in recent seasons, so convincing clubs to take on his high salaries and pay a transfer price won’t be simple.

Although Campos provided his assessment of the present team, there are still several crucial issues that need to be resolved before PSG begins their championship defense. Christophe Galtier will take over as Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement at the soccer team.
