Due to injuries and January acquisitions made by the team, the Memphis Depay dropped down the pecking order in the second part of the previous season.

Barcelona is prepared to trade Memphis Depay to raise money for a move for Leeds winger Raphinha. According to sources, Depay was informed this week that he is no longer in Xavi’s plans for the upcoming campaign.

The Catalan club is asking for £21.5 million (€25 million) in exchange for the 28-year-old, and they plan to use that money to increase their efforts to recruit Raphinha.

Depay is believed to have responded to his circumstances at the club in a recent Twitter post when he wrote: “I notice how certain tactics have been played around me as a football player.” I’m favored because God likes something about me, thus everything is okay.

“All my life, I didn’t measure up; I didn’t have the appropriate conduct; I didn’t have the correct looks.” That is what results from living a free life.

As the team waits for Ousmane Dembele, who has been given a new contract, to decide, players like Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, and Abde are considered potential replacements for Depay.

Depay is rumored to want to stay with the team, but Barcelona has made their choice and there is no going back.

According to reports, Barcelona made a last-minute offer for Raphinha, although their price was less than Chelsea’s agreed £60 million deal.

Deco, the agent for Raphinha, is waiting out to see whether Barcelona would release further cash after the £229 million investment from investment company Sixth Street in exchange for 10% of the team’s television rights for the next 25 years.

In 28 LaLiga games since coming from Lyon at the conclusion of his contract last summer, Depay has scored 12 goals.

Anders Christiansen, a former Chelsea defender, and midfielder Franck Kessie are reportedly close to joining Barcelona.
