Michael Vaughan makes a point about England’s revolutionized side

In the next Ashes series, England’s aggressive “Bazball” will be making diffrence from the past.  Former England captain, Michael Vaughan has supported this new form of aggresive cricket and has warned Australian bowling attack will face a bigger challenge than in the past.

Michael Vaughan contends that England has played its finest cricket in the previous seven months, both in the red-ball and white-ball formats, and he sees no reason why England won’t maintain the all-out assault strategy that has worked so well under the leadership of Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum

He is urging the home team to maintain its lively, fast-paced approach in the face of an Australian lineup that includes players such as Nathan Lyon, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood. Between them, the Australian trio has claimed 1181 Test wickets which is an absolute achievement, a few of them being modern greats.

“Fear of failure isn’t there”: Ben Stokes lauds his team after 3-0 victory

McCullum said there would be no going back from the “no fear” approach and mindset that had led to nine Test wins from 10 games under the McCullum-Ben Stokes regime after completing an unprecedented series clean sweep over Pakistan in Pakistan.

Former Australia captain Steve Smith, who will play a significant role in the Ashes series in England next year, has already expressed concerns about the viability of Bazball cricket.

“I’ve watched a little bit of it, it’s certainly been entertaining, they’re coming out playing their shots,” Steve Smith said.

“(But) if you come out on a wicket that’s got some grass and Hazlewood, Cummins and Starc are rolling in at you, is it going to be the same? We’ll see what happens.”

What continues from here is probably unpredictable. England team has been in good touch with their new method of playing, with every match they have gone better and better.

While Michael Vaughan claims that England is the most formidable test side in current standings, Australia has been clinical with their approach. They have won back to back three test matches in a dominating fashion.

Talking about the Ashes, it will be good series and as the time moves in, we will see more comments from ex players who will try to speak better of their team.
