Mino Raiola explained his controversial comments by claiming that PSG plays in the worst league of big clubs, insisting that they are still one of the elite teams in European football.

Raiola was not satisfied by the consequences

Mino recently sat down for an interview with Spanish AS, during which he addressed the ongoing speculation over Erling Haaland’s future at Borussia Dortmund. The so-called super agent listed a number of possible destinations that could have a lot of appeal for the Norwegian striker, including Paris Saint-Germain, but also questioned whether Ligue 1 is a competitive enough environment.

Mino originally said that Erling is interested in two things: Scoring goals, because he’s a bit like Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Ronaldo, it’s his obsession, in a positive way. And winning titles and no doubt he’ll pick a place where he feels the two things go together better for him. It is very difficult to lie. When a club like Real or Barcelona comes for you, with such a long history and being such a big club, it’s hard to say no. Paris Saint-Germain falls into this group of big clubs, City tries hard, Juventus has always been there. the league they play in is also important, he said. Paris Saint-Germain plays in the worst league of big clubs. Bayern is in an attractive league, but we know they always win it. There are three clubs in Spain with a chance.

PSG Is a historical club

After receiving criticism for his comments on social media, Mino took to Twitter to defend himself, reversing his original stance on Ligue 1 in the process. According to him in his interview with the newspaper AS, he would like to further clarify that he congratulated Paris Saint-Germain. Paris Saint-Germain is already one of the elite teams in European football and they are becoming historic for what they do. He also said that his view of Paris Saint-Germain is demonstrated by the great players he has had the honor to help get there in the past. By the players who are playing there now and also by the players who will probably play there in the future.
