Pundits and fans go wild after the Liverpool forward, Salah nets a stunning individual goal in 5-0 thrashing of Watford.

Mo Salah put in a typical show-stopping performance for the Reds who dismantled Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League’s 12.30pm kick-off.

But it was Salah’s goal nine minutes after half-time that left fans and pundits purring.

Collecting a pass from Roberto Firmino on the edge of the box, the Egyptian used deft skill to beat three Watford players including Juan Hernandez, Juraj Kucka and Craig Cathcart.

After then appearing to shoot having created space, Salah then dummied a right-footed effort and in the process beat Cathcart again who had slid in to block a shot.

Salah then calmly looked across goal and from a tight angle curled in a perfect finish into the corner across the target to give his side a 4-0 lead.

Social media exploded into excitement following the goal, with Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker proclaiming that the striker had ‘morphed into Lionel Messi’.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher proclaimed the 29-year-old star as ‘the best player in the world right now’.

Fans were in agreement across social media, with one supporter comparing Salah to Luis Suarez’s incredible 2013-14 season for the Reds.

They said: ‘Salah is approaching 13/14 Suarez levels. Keep this up and it’s going to be the GOAT Premier League season.’

Another supporter echoed a similar sentiment, saying: ‘Salah is playing on a completely different level to everyone right now. Insane goal.’

The superlatives kept on flooding in as another supporter said ‘Mo Salah is simply incredible.’

Salah stole the show at Vicarage Road, despite Roberto Firmino netting a hat-trick in the 5-0 victory.

Jurgen Klopp’s side was never troubled by a Watford side playing under new manager Claudio Ranieri for the first time, taking control after just nine minutes through Sadio Mane before Firmino and Salah took charge.
