Mohammed Siraj comes with an incredible story. A few years earlier he was a net bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Started his journey from there, now he is at his absolute peak, rattling the stumps, troubling the best of batters and celebrating with his signature Cristiano move.

Since started playing for India a lot has changed. He has gained his confidence, the pace has lifted up, most importantly he is the most attacking bowler who doesn’t shy away from challenging the batters.

Siraj’s bowling has been one of the reasons behind RCB’s success so far. He has taken wicket in every powerplay he has bowled so far in this season.

A year back, Siraj wasn’t even top 20 wicket takers of the IPL, now he holds the purple cap with 12 wickets in 7 matches. 7 of these 13 wickets has come in powerplay, all under the economy of 6. The biggest reason of his success has been his intensity, he has increased his pace, and has the talent to move the ball upfront. Sometime it nips back in, sometime it goes away so he have those weapons in his armour.

All this has been made possible because Siraj’s willing willingness to learn and improve. Definitely he has got the confidence to do magic with the ball because his captain have the trust in him to do so in every match.

Having top the ICC ODI bowling ranking, Siraj is surley one of the best white ball bowlers in the world cricket right now. There is no better powerplay bowler in this IPL and stats prove his dominance.

It already appears that we are yet to see the best of Mohmmed Siraj. The way he is bowling, things will only get better for him as more records will crumble as the IPL will progress. Chinnaswamy is tough place to bowl, despite this, he has been go to bowler for RCB whenever the captain needs a wicket.
