English footballer Jesse Lingard has played just 11 times at Old Trafford this season after being loaned from London last season.

What did Moyes say about Jesse Lingard?

Scottish coach Moyes admits he feels bad for Lingard as the midfielder continues to fight minutes at Man Utd. West Ham benefited greatly from the 28-year-old’s loan spell last season, when the midfielder scored nine times in 16 games to help the Hammers finish in sixth place. West Ham is currently fourth this season, three points ahead of Man Utd, where Jesse has scored just 11 times this season.

David Moyes said that he can’t really talk about him because Jesse Lingard is a Man Utd player and it is not for him to talk. But according to David Moyes, Jesse Lingard was really good for them. Lingard knows what they all think of him here. David Moyes’ disappointment for Lingard would be, he thinks Jesse is such a talented footballer and he doesn’t play.

Jesse Lingard played a big role in their second half of last season. But according to David, they have to give credit to the players here, they moved on without Lingard. David Moyes also said that people might have thought Lingard made a difference. But the players moved on and stepped to another level themselves. But Moyes has to say that Lingard was a big part of that.

A little about the topic

Even without Jesse, West Ham has hit it off this season as they currently sit in fourth and final in the Champions League through 14 games. Jesse Lingard’s future remains uncertain, however, as he enters the final months of his contract with Man Utd, sparking talk of a January move. Before leaving, Solskjaer insisted that Jesse remained a large part of the squad, but it is unclear how the midfielder will manage under new manager Rangnick.
