Without any Doubt Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the greatest captains in cricket and is currently leading Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023. Yesterday in Qualifier 1 against defending Champions Gujarat Titans, Dhoni’s Team CSK defeated them by 15 runs and made their way to the finals for the 10th time . In the post-match ceremony during the talk with Harsha Bhogle, Dhoni called himself “Annoying Captain” because he makes many requests to his Teammates and especially the Fielders .
Dhoni keeps changing the field
In the Conversation with Harsha, Dhoni revealed how frequently he keeps changing the field position which could be annoying for the fielders but he also says that he wants his players to keep an eye on him because when they drop a catch there will be no reaction from his side. The exact words Dhoni said were “ You see the wicket and according to it you keep adjusting the field, I can be a very Annoying captain because I keep shifting my Fielders and the only request I make to them is to keep an eye on me , If there is a dropped catch there will be no reaction from me.
Csk’s bowlers performed really well
In Yesterday’s Qualifier Csk lost the toss and had to bat first , they scored 172 runs which wasn’t a match winning total but their bowlers performed really well and took important early wickets. Deepak Chahar , Matheesha Pathirana , Ravindra Jadeja and Maheesh Theekshana all took two wickets each. Chennai Super Kings have qualified for the Grand Finale of IPL 2023 which is going to be held in Ahmedabad this coming sunday.
