After the English-owned Newcastle was acquired by a fund owned by Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Premier League club has been linked with a number of world-class stars.

The possible transfer of Brazilian Philippe Coutinho to Newcastle was recently announced. Also, Mauricio Pochettino being considered for the post of head coach, and now 30-year-old Welshman Bale is in the interest of the Magpies.

According to the Spanish MARCA, Newcastle are ready to satisfy the appetite of the Real Madrid player and pay him as much as at the “Royal Club,” which is about 17 million euros a year.

It is estimated that the transfer will cost up to 20 million euros. And Real will not object to the sale of Welshman, as it will release a considerable amount of money in the payroll.

Interestingly, until June 30, 2019, the first offer for Bale’s transfer belonged to his former club London’s Tottenham. However, now the Madridians are no longer bothered by any restrictions.

For reference, Bale has a current contract with Real until June 2022. The Welshman have played 14 games in La Liga this season, with one goal and two assists.
