Neymar is being chastised by fans for a ‘Shameless’ dive in PSG’s pre-season friendly against Gamba Osaka.
During Paris Saint-pre-season Germain’s friendly against Gamba Osaka in Japan on Monday, Neymar did little to improve his diving reputation.
In Japan, Pablo Sarabia gave the visitors a 1-0 lead before Neymar tumbled down inside the area and won a penalty a few minutes later.
However, replays revealed that there was very little, if any, contact.
And the awful theatrical dive that followed, with the Brazilian hurling himself to the floor like we’ve seen him do before.
He went on to score the penalty kick and another as the French won 6-2.
But it was the dive that sparked the most discussion following the game, with supporters reacting on social media with both laughter and incredulity.
One called it as “shameless,” while another cynically hailed it as “world class.”
