The Brazilian has signed a new contract with PSG that will hold him until 2025 at the Parc des Princes, the club confirmed.


PSG adventures extended

Neymar, who moved to the Ligue 1 heavyweights from Barcelona in 2017 for a record transfer fee in the world, has ended months of speculation about his future after an extension from Mauricio Pochettino. He represents a major boon for the French outfit, which has dominated domestic football and has seen increased European success since joining Camp Nou four years ago.

Brazilian told the club’s official website that it is a great happiness to extend the adventure at PSG and that he is very happy in Paris. It is a real pride to be a part of this group, to work with these players, this great coach and to be a part of the history of this club. According to the Brazilian, these are the things that make him believe even more in this great project. Neymar also noted that he grew up there as a person, as a person and as a player too. So the Brazilian is very happy to renew and hopes to win many more trophies there.

According to the President, Nasser is proud that Neymar today confirms its long-term commitment, until 2025, to the PSG family, whose fans he will continue to delight and that they are very pleased that Neymar continues to be a part of their project and to be with them for many years to come.

The 29-year-old has played over 100 games for Parisiens since he made the € 222 million move from Spain to France, helping to significantly raise Paris Saint-Germain’s profile as they strive to establish themselves among Europe’s historic elite. In his first three seasons, he helped the club achieve two domestic trills and another double, winning the Ligue 1 title in each of these campaigns, while continuing to solidify their continental position.
