After five years at PSG, Neymar is allegedly thinking about leaving this summer after feeling targeted by Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s comments

The 30-year-old Neymar who cost PSG a record transfer price to bring him to the French capital in 2017, makes upwards of £24 million years in salary but hasn’t been able to assist PSG to win a Champions League match in that time.

He’s considering leaving since he doesn’t feel appreciated by the team.

Nasser Al Khelaifi, the president of PSG, recently addressed the team’s inadequacies from the previous campaign while declining to say whether Neymar will remain with the organization in 2022–2023.

Neymar may be leaving this summer? I can tell you that we expect all players to do far better than they did last year. Much more! Le Parisien was informed by Al Khelaifi through RMC Sport.

“They must all be 100%,” I said. We were obviously not good enough to advance very far. The goal is to give every day of the next season 200 percent effort. To devote everything we have to this shirt, to offer our all, and to see what happens.

“You need to recover your humility.” To prevent injuries, bans, and fouls that alter a game, you must adapt.

It is clear that Neymar felt singled out by the president’s remarks, which may have prompted him to go for the exit.

But with Neymar’s high salary and possible high transfer fee, a move is already appearing to be challenging.

He is one of the highest-paid footballers in the world, and he still has three years left on his PSG contract, so it seems likely he won’t depart for peanuts.

According to AS, Juventus has accepted the Brazilian forward’s offer, and his agents have met with the Serie A powerhouses.

It is doubtful that he would join PSG this summer unless his compensation demands change, since the Italian club notified the players’ intermediaries that they could not afford his present earnings.
