Tottenham Hotspur will travel to Norwich City on Sunday for the last day of the Premier League season with the hopes of confirming their spot in the 2022-23 Champions League.

Antonio Conte’s team only needs a point to finish in the top four, whilst the Carrow Road visitors have already been relegated.

Team News

Norwich City

  • Despite going off with a knock at Molineux, Smith has verified that Mathias Normann is fit to play, although Billy Gilmour (ankle) and Ben Gibson (back) will both need to be evaluated.
  • Due to different injuries, Andrew Omobamidele, Adam Idah, Kenny McLean, Joshua Sargent, Ozan Kabak, and Christoph Zimmermann will all miss the last day of the season, although Smith will be hesitant to make too many changes following a solid showing against the Wolves.
  • If Gibson is ruled out, Norwich will almost certainly return to a back four, with Lukas Rupp ready to step in if Gilmour is assessed unable to play.

Tottenham

  • In terms of Spurs, Cristian Romero’s hip injury was supposed to keep him out for the rest of the season, but Conte hasn’t ruled out the chance of the Argentine returning.
  • However, Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp, Sergio Reguilon, and Matt Doherty are still on the mend, and Conte is expected to continue with his established starting lineup for Sunday’s match following a positive report on Kane’s condition.
  • With a brace, Kane would become the Premier League’s all-time leading scorer with 10, while Son Heung-min will try to take advantage of Mohamed Salah’s injury issues to win the Golden Boot, with 21 goals to Salah’s 22.

Prediction Analysis

Norwich will be desperate to finish the season on a high note in front of their home crowd, but a few of forced alterations from their impressive performance against Wolves might be catastrophic here.

Tottenham’s usually dazzling attack has been guilty of a few sloppy displays recently, but the Lilywhites are facing the poorest defense in the Premier League and should be able to enjoy top-four celebrations when the final whistle blows.

Our prediction is Norwich City 0-4 Tottenham.
