Pedro Rodriguez continues his career in Italy. The Spanish footballer has already signed a contract with Roma until 2023.
Italian Roma have added former Chelsea striker Pedro Rodriguez. As you may know, the striker has left Chelsea as a free agent this summer. Now, he signed a contract with the Romans until the summer of 2023. The mentioned information is spread by the Italian edition La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
For Pedro, this is the third club in his career. Before Roma, he also defended the honor of Barcelona and Chelsea. So, he managed to win a total of 22 titles.
”I am happy. This is a new challenge. A new country and a new club are waiting for me. Playing in Serie A will be very interesting for me. I am thankful of my club and the fans. “I am an ambitious player, and I came here to win titles,” Pedro told Roma’s official website.
The Spanish striker has made 11 appearances in the Premier League last season and has shown himself once. Pedro has already met with head coach Paulo Fonseca and talked with him about the club’s future plans.
The 33-year-old Spaniard visited one of the clinics before the transfer to the Roman club for a medical examination.
As mentioned, Pedro will sign a contract by the summer of 2022. His annual salary will be 3.5 million euros.
