The two teams will use this series to build up to the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia. England last T20I series saw them fall to a 2-1 series defeat to South Africa. More recently Pakistan played in the Asia Cup, reaching the final where they lost to Sri Lanka by 23 runs.
The two sides will begin the series at Karachi, playing four T20Is before the last three take place at Lahore. The two sides met in a three-match T20I series in England last year, won 2-1 by the hosts. Liam Livingstone was Player of the Series after hitting 147 runs across the three matches at an average of 49 and strike rate of 216.17.
England’s visit to Pakistan is their first since 2005.
