Pakistan is gearing up for an action-packed cricket season as they prepare to host Test matches against Bangladesh, England, and West Indies. In a nod to the ODI format of the past, Pakistan will also host a tri-series featuring New Zealand and South Africa, a rare occurrence among full-member nations outside of ICC events.

The upcoming season will kick off with a two-match Test series against Bangladesh in August, followed by three Tests against England in October. Pakistan will then welcome West Indies for two Tests in January before the tri-series in February 2025 as a build-up to the Champions Trophy.

PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed optimism about the upcoming season, emphasizing the importance of finalizing the schedule early to ensure high-quality cricket and engage fans. The schedule aims to promote the growth of the game in Pakistan and attract new audiences while maximizing revenue for reinvestment into player welfare and infrastructure development.

The season will also see Pakistan embark on away tours to Australia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, featuring a mix of ODIs, T20Is, and Tests. The busy schedule reflects Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its position in international cricket and showcasing its talent on the global stage.

With top cricketing nations set to visit Pakistan and participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the country is poised to demonstrate its standing and stature in the cricketing world. The schedule promises exciting matches and competitive spirit, highlighting Pakistan’s passion for the sport and its dedication to fostering a thriving cricketing environment.
