Ex-Red Devils player Patrice Evra mocked Pep Guardiola with a unique Oasis cover after the Manchester derby.

How was everything?

Manchester United managed to beat Man City 2-1 with goals from Rashford and Fernandes to seal the game as Grealish opened the scoring. The EQ may have come in a rather controversial fashion, but that didn’t seem to bother Patrice, as he noted his former side of their rivals’ within-point movement.

Indeed, in the video Patrice Evra shared on IG, he could be heard singing his own lyrics to the Oasis mega-hit “Don’t Look Back in Anger”: “You ain’t ever gonna shut my mouth. Soo City can wait.” They know it’s too late, we’re back on fire. Their soul slides away. But don’t look back in anger I heard you say.” The famous Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher is a huge Manchester City fan.

A little about the topic

The Citizens thrashed the Red Devils 6-3 at the Etihad when the teams met at the start of the season and, to this day, Manchester United have virtually failed to win a home derby since the 2019-20 season. During his career, Patrice Evra has played against the Citizens 22 times, winning 11, losing 10 and only drawing once.

What will happen after this for the Red Devils?

Manchester United have now only lost one of their last 19 games in all competitions and will feel like they are now in a title race just a point behind Manchester City and six behind the Gunners.
