Paul Pogba is set to return to Turin after spending six years in England at Old Trafford.
A little about the topic
The French player has landed in Italy to complete a return to the Bianconeri, with the World Cup winner preparing to repeat his moves to Turin following the completion of his contract at Man Utd. Pogba spent four years with Juventus between 2012 and 2016, with his profile boosted in Italy to the point that it took a world-record transfer fee of £89m to take him back to Old Trafford for a second term in England . The Bianconeri’s new contract is believed to last four years and Paul Pogba is expected to have his doctor on Saturday.
Paul took to IG to post a video of him sitting on a private jet wearing a white jacket with three black adid stripes on the shoulder. The Frenchman says “it’s time” and writes #PogAlmostBack, hinting at his impending return to the bianconeri. Part of the mystery was then solved when the bianconeri released their own video of Paul getting off board in Turin, presumably on his way to completing his return to the club.
What did Paul Pogba say?
The French international has said in his new documentary about cutting ties with Manchester United that his thought process is to show Man Utd they made a mistake waiting to give him a contract. And according to Pogba, to show other clubs that Manchester made a mistake by not offering him a contract. Man Utd did try to tie the Frenchman to a new deal in the summer of 2021, with improved terms laid out for him despite having already received a £290,000-a-week salary package. However, these efforts were not successful.
The Frenchman was clearly unimpressed that Manchester United waited 12 months from its expiration date before entering into negotiations, with Paul Pogba saying how can they tell a player that they absolutely want him and offer him nothing. Pogba says he has never seen anything like it.
