Paul Pogba is preparing to return to Turin six years ago from having to start the spell with Juventus to the end.

A little about Paul Pogba

The Frenchman is poised to complete a return to the Bianconeri on a free transfer, with the World Cup winner preparing to repeat his moves to Turin after reaching the end of his Man Utd contract. Pogba spent four years with Juventus between 2012 and 2016, with his profile boosted in Italy to the point that it took a world-record transfer fee of £89m to take him back to Old Trafford for a second term in England . Paul Pogba is now poised to return to familiar surroundings in Serie A and it will take another meeting for the contract to be presented and signed.

Contract duration

As soon as it became apparent that Paul would cut ties with Man Utd as an extension would not be agreed upon, a number of clubs expressed interest in acquiring his services. Some of them tried to get the bianconeri under a licensed signature, but the Italian heavyweights fought off advances from rivals to reach an agreement. It is understood that Paul will now commit to a three-year deal through 2025, with those terms worth around €7.5m per season.

Reason for Paul’s return

Paul Pogba gave his word to Juventus that he would return to their ranks and not have any late change of heart. The France midfielder is confident that the right career call is being made and close family and friends have been informed of the decision, which is now set in stone. Paul has enjoyed his previous stint with the Bianconeri as the player has claimed four consecutive Serie A titles and wants to build on a record in Turin that previously saw him register 34 goals in 178 appearances. Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has brought the best out of him before, with the highly-rated tactician first taking the demanding managerial role back in 2014, and the pair are now set to reunite.
