Paul Pogba moved to Old Trafford the same summer as Mourinho, but they didn’t always see eye to eye.

What did Paul Pogba say?

The French footballer revealed when his relationship with former Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho fell apart and the Portuguese manager questioned the player’s injury when he went to Miami for a rehab program. Pogba, who would have relished World Cup glory with his country in 2018, moved to Old Trafford in the same summer of 2016 as the former Blues and Real Madrid manager returned to PL management with Manchester United.

The France midfielder enjoyed initial success under Jose as the three trophies were captured in their first season together, but that link had soured by the time the Red Devils were on the market for a new manager in December 2018.

Speaking in his new documentary, the French midfielder said of the moment the Portuguese coach began to carry his anger that it started when Pogba got injured. According to Paul Pogba, he said he would go to Miami for rehab. The paparazzi photographed Paul’s and his wife. Mourinho sent the painting to Raiola. Paul says he didn’t like it at all. He said he was on vacation when they were working as frankly.

“I told Mourinho you’re serious? I’m injured. I train here three times a day. Who do you think I am?” Paul Pogba said. It was new for Pogba to have an issue with his coach.

What happened next?

Paul suffered a hip injury in September 2017 that kept him out of action for 12 games, with this setback he suffered his first major fitness problem with Manchester United. Jose has been relieved of duty after two and a half years at the helm, with FAQs about his working relationship with Paul appearing at one point in a couple of videos apparently arguing on the driving range.

The Red Devils have made little progress since Jose left, with Solskjær and Rangnick unable to recapture their former glory. Dutch coach Erik ten Hag is now gearing up to take over the PL heavyweights from 2022-23, but Paul will not be at his disposal as the French player left Old Trafford as a free agent at the end of his contract. Paul Pogba is close to returning to the Bianconeri.
