Paul Pogba “on the verge” of re-joining Juventus
Manchester United star, Paul Pogba is a Juventus transfer target. It is for this reason Juventus is urged to sell Ramsey and Rabiot to create space for French International.
It’s not a secret Juventus wants Paul Pogba back in at Turin. The 27-year-old spent four years with the Old Lady earlier in his career, shining under Antonio Conte. He could now be set for a stunning return.
Man United signed Pogba in 2016 from Juventus with the installed belief he would be their ticket back to the top. However, the 2017 World Cup winner has failed to deliver on a regular basis since his return to Old Trafford.
Pogba has had highs such as winning the EFL Cup and Carabao Cup in his first season back at United. But inconsistently, injury and clashes with Jose Mourinho soured his second spell at the Theatre of Dreams.
As things stand, Juventus midfielder, Adrien Rabiot appears likeliest to be used as a bargaining chip to get the price down. It is claimed that Rabiot has an interest in joining United alongside his mother and agent Veronique.
The pair are said to be interested in moving to England with Rabiot struggling at Juventus ever since his arrival on a free transfer from PSG.
Weighing in on Pogba’s saga, former Juventus star, Alessio Tacchinardi gave advice on what Juve should do to secure a transfer.
He said, “To get Pogba back, I would let Rabiot and Ramsey go even if the Welshman did show a few signs of life in the last few games”
Rabiot’s relationship with Juventus has soured with the midfielder unimpressed at taking a pay cut. Juventus, in return, is unhappy at Rabiot for his unwillingness to return early from isolation despite several of his team-mates doing so.
Partying of ways now looks likely.
