Before playing in IPL 2022, Rishi Dhawan had performed very well in the domestic tournament.
Rishi Dhawan suffered a face injury while playing Ranji Trophy, after which he was also taken to the hospital for a scan. Due to injury, Rishi could not play the first four matches in IPL 2022 for Punjab Kings.
Recently, he has undergone nose surgery and to avoid any damage, he came wearing a mask against CSK. Rishi took 2 wickets for 39 runs in 4 overs against CSK.

Rishi Dhawan played his last IPL match in the year 2016. He had shown a great game in the domestic tournament and he was a big contender to play for India.
Seeing the form of Rishi Dhawan, Punjab Kings bought him for Rs 55 lakh. Dhawan made his debut for the Indian team in 2016. He has played three ODI matches.
