IPL 2022

The 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) in moving towards the end phase. This year two new teams have also debuted in IPL. Both teams, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Supergiants, are performing very well this year. On the other hand, two of the most successful IPL teams have already been out of the tournament. Despite the poor performance, the franchises have also had to deal with injured players who were ruled out of the tournament.

Due to the injury of the match winner player of the teams, teams have found themselves well short of their potential.

The biggest example of which is Deepak Chahar for Chennai. So today we are going to talk about all the players who were out due to injury or they abstained because of other reasons.

Jason Roy For Gujarat Titans

The team of Gujarat Titans made its debut in IPL (IPL 2022) this year. But even before the debut, the team got a big setback when England’s batsman Jason Roy withdrew his name. He gave the big reason for taking his name to Bio Bubble. After this, Gujarat had roped in Afghanistan’s young wicket-keeper batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz as a replacement in his place.

Alex Hales & Rasikh Salam For Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata had to go into the IPL (IPL 2022) this year without its two players. The team’s explosive opener bet withdrew his name even before the start of the IPL. Like Jason Roy, Alex Hales also decided not to play in the league due to the bio bubble. The team drafted Australian opener Aaron Finch in his place, who was left unsold in the mega auction.

Along with this, a young fast bowler from Kolkata, Rasikh Salam also got injured after playing two matches in the league. Due to injury, he had to be out of the entire tournament (IPL 2022). Kolkata has included Additional Harshit Rana as the replacement of Rasikh Salam.

Mark Wood For Lucknow Super Giants

Before the start of the Indian Premier League 2022 (IPL 2022), the newly launched Lucknow Super Giants had suffered a major setback. Lucknow lost their fastest bowler Mark Wood even before the start of the league. Wood suffered an elbow injury while playing the West Indies Test and due to this he was not able to be a part of the IPL. Lucknow added Andrew Tye to the team in place of Wood, who could not perform well.

Deepak Chahar and Adam Milne For Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings have suffered the most in this season (IPL 2022). Two players of the team have been injured. One is star all-rounder Deepak Chahar who could not even join the team in nets. The team has not yet taken any replacement in his place.

Apart from him, the other player is Adam Milne who was a big bet but couldn’t play more than one match.  CSK added Sri Lankan young fast bowler Mathisa Pathirana in place of Adam Milne. Milne was injured during the first match.
