A number of Premier League players were in action for their national teams with injury scares for a number of the competition’s bigger names.
The final round of continental fixtures took place over the last few days, with World Cup and European Championship qualifiers on the menu. A number of big names withdrew from their countries’ squads with injury or fitness issues, including Chelsea’s Reece James and Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund. However, others took to the field.
