PSG are motivated to do their job against Brest, Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino claims his Paris Saint Germain Players are motivated and ready to do their job at the Stade Francis Le Blé.
Pochettino hopes a win against Brest will give them Ligue 1 title. However, the title fate now lies in the hands of the Angers-Lille match but Pochettino believes something might come their way.
Pochettino thinks his PSG are motivated and looking forward to winning against Brest in the Ligue 1 final match.
“We don’t have our destiny between our own hands, but taking home all three points is down to us. Maybe that won’t be enough, we will wait to see what happens at Angers,” Pochettino said.
“But we need to believe, to be ready and competitive. In football, you always have to believe. Whatever happens, we need to win and hope,” he explained, hoping things go their way at Angers.
“We know that everyone will give their best. We hope to win on Sunday and take home the title,” he added.
Continuing, the former Tottenham boss reveals they did not prepare well after the Coupe de France finals against AS Monaco.
“We didn’t have a lot of time after the final of the Coupe de France. We did a bit of video work and training, but not too much,” the Argentine revealed.
“The players will need to be focused on what they need to do to win this match. Then we will see what happens at Angers,” Pochettino added.
Finally, the PSG coach admits, “Titles are very important for the club, the players, the staff, and the supporters. When you play for Paris Saint-Germain, you always need to win.”
“We will try to win on Sunday and hope that something happens at Angers. I think that a team like Paris Saint-Germain goes into every competition to win it,” Pochettino added.
