In a desperate bid to keep Kylian Mbappe from joining Real Madrid for free, PSG reportedly has offered £83 Million signing-on fee and a new two-year deal worth over £800,000 per week AFTER tax

The 23-year-old forward’s contract at Parc des Princes expires at the end of the season, and Real Madrid is widely expected to sign him on a free transfer.

So far, the France international has turned down all contract extension offers from the Ligue 1 giants, including a rumored ‘blank cheque’ offer made last week.

However, according to reports, PSG has once again pushed the boat out in an attempt to keep Mbappe by offering him a two-year contract for more than £800,000 per week after tax.

According to the same rumor the France striker would also receive a massive signing-on bonus of £83 million (€100 million), although his representatives have yet to respond to the offer.

PSG, on the other hand, is said to be enthusiastic about securing Mbappe’s immediate future following productive negotiations with his agents.

Last week, reports claimed that Real Madrid were confident of acquiring both Mbappe and Erling Haaland this summer. And it is known that the Frenchman might play a role if Los Blancos speed up their pursuit of PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino. The news comes just days after Mbappe sent a cryptic tweet about chasing down the club’s all-time leading striker Edinson Cavani’s 200-goal mark in Paris.

Following his brace against Saint-Etienne, the 23-year-old has surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the club’s joint-second greatest goalscorer with 156 goals.

That’s still 44 goals short of Cavani’s tally, but Mbappe told Spanish newspaper AS: ‘I just have Cavani left to become PSG’s all-time leading scorer.’

‘We’ll see how things go.’ It’s impossible to overlook the fact that he’s PSG’s top scorer. We’ll see how things go.’ The striker also expressed his gratitude to the PSG fans, who have been pleading with him to sign a new contract in Paris.

‘It’s nice to have the fans’ support,’ he remarked. This is something we also play for. The component regarding the goals and statistics is always present.

‘However, leaving a mark on people’s memories is an important aspect of history.’ I really enjoyed it, and I appreciate it.’

Mbappe is having another strong season, scoring 24 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions, five of which came in the Champions League.
