Lahore Qalandars registered their first win of the tournament after beating Karachi Kings by 6 wickets on Sunday.

Once again, it was Fakhar Zaman, who starred with the bat. In pursuit of the 170-run total, the southpaw kept the team in the chase with a match-winning 106-run knock off 60 balls.
He didn’t find a lot of support from the other batsmen, however, Shafique scored 8 runs in 8 deliveries, while Kamran Ghulam managed only 6 runs in 9 deliveries. M Hafeez (24 off 21) also made a decent start but couldn’t convert it into a big score.
F Zaman kept the team in the hunt till the end. He, however, got out on the fifth ball of the 19th over. In the end, it was 6 runs needed in the last six deliveries. Samit Patel then hit two consecutive fours to guide the team to a win with 3 balls remaining. Lahore Qalandars, thus won the game by 6 wickets.
Karachi Kings batted first and managed to score 170 runs in the first innings. Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam stitched an 84-run partnership for the first wicket before the former got out in the 11th over. Sharjeel scored 60 runs in 39 balls, while Babar Azam managed to score 41 runs in 33 balls.
Joe Clarke played an unbeaten knock of 24 runs in 18 balls, a knock which was laced with 2 fours. However, the other batsmen fell in a cluster. Harif Rauf was the pick of the bowlers, picking 3 for 33.
Shaheed Afridi returned with figures of 1 for 31, while Rashid Khan picked 1 for 24 runs.
