Quetta Gladiators take on Multan Sultans in the seventh match of the PSL 2021 on Monday. Quetta Gladiators lost the first game and came back strongly against Karachi Kings in the next match.

Young pace sensational Naseem Shah picked a five-wicket haul as he ran through Karachi Kings’ batting unit. Sohail Tanvir also produced a brilliant spell of 2 for 29 in 4 overs, while Nawaz returned with figures of 1 for 19 in 4 overs. Thanks to all those spells, Karachi Kings were bundled out for 113 runs.
Quetta Gladiators, in response to the total, Quetta Gladiators chased down the score in 15.5 overs. Ahsan Ali notched his second consecutive half-century of the season. He remained unbeaten on 57 off 43 deliveries. Will Smeed amassed 30 off 35 deliveries. Ahead of the third game on Monday, Quetta Gladiators would look to continue the winning momentum.
Facing them are Multan Sultans, who have made an outstanding start to their campaign. They have managed to win both the games played thus far. Multan played their last game against Lahore Qalandars.
The bowling unit was thrashed left, right, and centre as Lahore Qalandars managed to score a mammoth score of 206 runs in the first innings. Imran Tahir was the only bowler who looked threatening with the ball. He returned with figures of 1 for 32 in 4 overs.
In pursuit of the total, Shan Masood and M Rizwan yet again stitched a brilliant 150-run partnership for the opening wicket. Masood score 83 runs in 50 balls, while M Rizwan amassed 69 runs in 42 balls.
However, Lahore later slowed the scoring rate in the latter half of the innings and the equation came down to 16 runs needed in the final 6 balls. What followed was Khushdil Shah hitting 16 runs in 4 deliveries to finish the game with 2 balls remaining. Multan Sultans would be eying their third consecutive win on Monday.
