Opener Shubman Gill played an fabulous innings of 96 runs. However, it was Rahul Tewatia who played only three balls and did something phenomenal.

He won the match by hitting 2 sixes in the last two balls. He led Gujarat Titans to a thrilling 6-wicket win over Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday.

Gujarat needed 19 runs in the last over. Hardik Pandya (27 runs off 18 balls) was run out and the team needed 12 runs from the last two balls. Tewatia (13 not out from three balls) hit Odean Smith for sixes off deep midwicket and long on as Gujarat registered their third successive win at 190 for four.

Earlier, due to the brilliant innings of Liam Livingstone (64) and Shikhar Dhawan (35), Punjab Kings (PBKS) set a target of 190 runs to Gujarat Titans (GT). Punjab scored 189 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Rashid Khan bagged three wickets for Gujarat Titans. Whereas, Darshan Nalkande took two wickets, while Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya and Lockie Ferguson took one wicket each.
