Ralf Rangnick says he would still take on the role if he had the chance again.

A little about the topic

The German manager insists he has no regrets about taking a job at Man Utd despite their indifferent form under him. Manchester United have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions and are facing a battle to qualify for the Champions League next season. They enter Saturday’s matchup against Norwich bottom in seventh place in the PL, six points outside the top four.

What did Ralf Rangnick say?

The German replaced Solksjaer on a temporary basis in November and is due to be handed over to a permanent successor in the summer before taking on a two-year consulting role, with Ajax manager Erik ten Hag leading the charge. It was hoped that his appointment would improve their chances of making the top four, but Ralf Rangnick failed to get a full-time sideline, winning only nine of his 22 games as a main.

The fanbase grows increasingly frustrated as the campaign progresses, leading to a protest against the club’s owners outside their training ground on Friday, with more protests planned ahead of Norwich’s game. Despite all this turbulence, Ralf insists he has no regrets about taking the job, though he admits he’s not happy with how things have played out so far.

Ralf Rangnick told reporters no regrets. According to Rangnick, he would do it again and again. Ralf doesn’t regret it at all. As a manager they always have to ask themselves what they could have done better if he could have played with a different formation in certain games if the substitution could have been made sooner. It’s something that always happens, they always ask themselves what they could do better.

The German thinks they all know it’s a tough squad, the whole situation was tough or he wouldn’t be sitting here and Solskjær would probably still be here. Again, Ralf thinks they’ve shown over the last couple of months that they’ve been able to level up, but not in the sustainable way that he would like. Ralf Rangnick says that’s why he’s not at all happy with what they’ve done and achieved so far.
