Ranji Trophy 2022: U-19 World Cup-winning Captain Yash Dhull named in Delhi Squad
U-19 World Cup-winning captain Yash Dhull has been included in Delhi’s Ranji Trophy squad on Wednesday & the team will be led by Pradeep Sangwan.

Pacer Navdeep Saini has also been named in Delhi’s squad while Ishant Sharma is not a member of the Delhi team, confirmed Delhi & District Cricket Association. Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Chattisgarh & Jharkhand all the teams are placed in Group H & all their matches will be played in Guwahati.
The Round 1 of the Ranji Trophy 2022 will be held from February 17-20 & all the teams will assemble at their base venues on February 10. the second round of the Ranji Trophy will commence from February 24-27, while the third round will go ahead from March 3 to 6.
On Tuesday, the BCCI has circulated Ranji Trophy 2022 staging guidelines to all the nine host associations. According to the guidelines, the players & support staff will undergo five-day quarantine before starting their training for the tournament.
Every team has been asked to keep the squad size to 30, including the support staff. The teams have been directed to maintain a minimum of 20 players in the squad & the board has allowed the states to carry two reserves along with them, looking at the current COVID-19 situation.
All the teams have been asked to report at their base on February 10 & then they will undergo a five-day quarantine. After returning with negative COVID-19 results, teams can begin their training on February 15 & 16.
The quarantine period for pre-quarters will be from March 7-10 & the pre-quarterfinal clash would be played from March 12-16.
