RCB vs DC: Delhi Capitals have lost four matches on trot, their batting line-up had struggled and only Axar Patel has looked in solid T20 mode. Captain David Warner has scored runs but not at the rate team expected him to score.

The old ghost is back for Royal Challengers Bangalore, they are scoring big runs yet failing to defend it. Death bowling is a big issue for them. Against KKR, they leaked 57 runs in the last four overs, a match before, they conceded 84 runs in six overs.

Delhi Capitals Strengthened By Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh didn’t do any wonders for Delhi Capitals in this season yet his presence is really important for the team. He missed two matches due to personal reasons, now he is back in the middle order which means  Powell or Mustafizur Rahman, one will make way for Marsh.

Delhi had hoped that Kuldeep Yadav will operate well in the middle overs, but so far, his hasn’t found his rhythm. Same goes for fast bowlers, there is no support for Anrich Nortje from the other end.

David Warner has been most run scorer for DC and second most in the Tata IPL 2023

Pretty inexperienced middle order, after first four wickets, there is no specialist T20 batter. There is Axar Patel, but he primarily plays as an all rounder. Abhishek Porel is potential talent but once again, the big names will need to take responsibility.

Manish Pandey will remain in the team, the intent was there in previous match but DC desperately need a big and quick partnership at the top order.

Wanindu Hasaranga Back For Royal Challengers Bangalore

Wanindu Hasaranga is back in the team after missing first three matches. He is someone who will have the responsibility to operate during the middle overs and force DC batters to take risk.

Siraj was all class against LSG where other bowlers almost leaked over 12 runs per over. Karn Sharma conceded 48 in his three overs, it is unlikely that RCB will go with two spinners but Sharma will remain impact player.

Harshal Patel’s form hasn’t been best but bowling at Chinnaswamy is never easy for fast bowlers. It’s a day game so he might get something out of it as assistance.

Banglore has got best opening pair and so far they have proved to be the best so. The top three has do well, so others weren’t needed but Dinesh Karthik will be under pressure. He missed the crucial chance to tie the match against LSG.

What Does Stats Say On RCB vs LSG

DC and RCB met at Wankhede last year. It was quite a good match, Dinesh Karthik scored 66 off 34 balls when RCB were in slight struggle. In the end, Banglore won the match.

Both teams have come head to head 28 times in IPL, Banglore won 18 times while Delhi only have 10 wins against RCB. Delhi Capitals are having second worst tournament after their 2013 season where they lost 6 matches in a row.

Kuldeep has bowled four overs in all of four matches yet has only 2 wickets to his name. Faf Du Plessis has scored 3 half centuries in 6 previous played matches at Chinnaswamy.
