Rajasthan Royals are through and a tournament of ups and downs ends for Royal Challengers Banglore. RR turned out to be a defiant team when time actually demanded it. A good match became one sided when Jos Buttler came to bat in the second innings, the chasing looked as if there was nothing to trouble the RR.
Royal Challengers Banglore batted first and scored 157 runs in 20 overs. Neither Virat Kohli nor Faf Du Plessis was able to start off well. Once again, Rajat Patidar showed his temperance and scored 58 runs which was a significant contribution. Except him, no other batsman even reached 25 runs mark.
158 was never going to trouble the RR much while chasing but it was qualifier 2 and there was pressure on both teams. Despite the pressure, Jos Buttler produced one of the memorable innings in the qualifier and smashed 106 of 60 balls to win the match for Rajasthan Royals.
