Los Blancos staff is doing everything to win the upcoming games in La liga and Champions League. Keep in mind that Los Blancos training staff is working to develop a system where players can’t be easily injured.
Injured players of the Los blancos
Real Madrid’s players returned to training at Valdebebas on Thursday with as many as 10 internationals not present, although Casemiro is not one of those after he took the decision to not travel to Brazil to join up with his Selecao teammates. None of the injured players have returned to full training, though, as Ferland Mendy completed part of the session with the group, while Marco Asensio trained individually on and off the pitch. Dani Carvajal, Dani Ceballos, Isco, Gareth Bale and Mariano Diaz all continued with their recoveries inside the training ground’s facilities. Carlo Ancelotti is hoping to have five of these players at his disposal for Real Madrid’s next game against Shakhtar Donetsk on October 19. This Champions League clash will come too soon for Bale and Ceballos, while Isco and Asensio were the last players to pick up muscle injuries, doing so before Los Blancos’ LaLiga Santander game against Espanyol.
Mendy and Carvajal progress is not promising
Real Madrid are worried about both Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy. Carlo Ancelotti hasn’t been able to regularly call upon either of his theoretical first-choice full-backs this season – not at all in the case of Mendy – and a lot of players have come and gone on either side. It’s possible that both could be named in Ancelotti’s Champions League squad for the match against Shakhtar Donetsk on October 19, but the Italian and the club are reluctant to take any unnecessary risks. Mendy last played in LaLiga Santander against Barcelona on April 10, and even then he forced himself to play when he wasn’t in perfect shape. He played again in the Champions League semi-final second leg against Chelsea, knowing the importance of the game.
