Five months and five days to achieve five titles with which to complete a historic season. Madrid’s letter to the Three Wise Men has one wish: the Sextet. It is a wish with delivery in installments, with June 10 as the expiration date to put the icing on the cake with the Champions League. It would be the first time that a team has won the Sextet, a pure Sextet, in the same season, since both Barcelona (2015) and Bayern Munich (2020) gathered the titles by linking two campaigns . The first piece, the European Super Cup, is already in the white cabinets ; and in just over a month two new captures may arrive: the Spanish Super Cup and the Club World Cup. European Super Cup
Madrid laid the first stone for the Sextete in the opening game of the season. The new European champion traveled to Helsinki to face Eintracht. Ancelotti’s men defeated the Germans (2-0) with goals from Alaba and Benzema . And Casemiro took the MVP in his last match as a Real Madrid player.
La Liga – at the highest level
The most expensive and equal championship after 15 days of the last nine years. Madrid shares the lead with Barcelona, tied at 38 points and having put land in the middle with the next ranked team, Real Sociedad, which is third with 29. The whites prevailed (3-1) in the Clásico in the first round with goals from Benzema, Valverde and Rodrygo (Ferran Torres scored the Barça goal) and the second assault awaits at the Camp Nou on March 19. There will still be 12 days ahead until June 4 when the championship ends.
