Legspinner Rehan Ahmed, 17, after a successful season for Leicestershire in the T20 Blast, will get a chance to play for England Lions in two 50-over matches against touring South Africa next week.

Rehan Ahmed took 12 wickets in four matches for England in this year’s Under-19 World Cup and displayed his quick-witted googlies. He took 19 wickets in the group stages of the Blast, the most for any right-arm legspinner, and would be given a chance as one of two frontline spinners in the Lions team.
