Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has responded to a statement by Barcelona’s favorite candidate for the presidency, Victor Font. As you know, the latter said that in case of his presidency of the Catalan Grand, he will bring back legends to the club, including Pep.
“I am just happy to be here. I’m delighted to be in Manchester. So, I hope we can achieve good results this season and I will stay here for a long time,” Guardiola told a news conference on Friday.
Recall that after the resignation of Josep Maria Bartomeu, Victor Fonti is the favorite for the position of President of Barcelona. He promises Barça fans that he will bring back Chavi, Andres Iniesta and Carles Puyol along with Guardiola at the club.
Josep Guardiola was appointed as the head coach of Manchester City in 2016, after three years spent in Bayern Munich. Pep has played for Barça since he was 17. From 2008 to 2012 he was the head coach of the Catalan Grand. Among other titles, he also won the UEFA Champions League twice (2009, 2011).
