Jos Buttler has scored three centuries so far this season and he was accompanied  Sanju Samson who did fireworks. If two didn’t make impact, it was Shimron Hetmyer who took responsibility. On the other hand Bangalore team had strong players like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik. But in this match the superstar players of both the teams failed. Riyan Parag, 20-year-old young batsman took full advantage of the failure of Rajasthan’s star players.

Riyan Parag came out to bat in the tenth over after Jos Buttler was dismissed for 8 and Sanju Samson was dismissed for 27. At the time, Rajasthan Royals was struggling to score runs and kept losing wickets on regular intervals. He came to bat when his team’s score was 68 runs for four wickets.

20-year-old Riyan Parag was definitely considered a talented cricketer but till now he had not been able to present a glimpse of his talent in front of the world. His innings, which started in the 10th over, continued unbeaten till the 20th over, hitting two sixes and a four. He added 56 not out off 31 balls with the help of four sixes and three fours. Due to his batting, the team could reach the fighting total of 144 runs.

The young batsman hit sixes on the spin bowling of Shahbaz Ahmed. Also, he played well against top notch bowler Josh Hazlewood. However, Riyan Parag mistimed a shot off Hazlewood’s ball but Hasranga dropped a sitter. Consequently, Harshal Patel had to suffer the result in the last over.

A total of 18 runs were added in Patel’s last over. He completed his 50 runs in 29 balls by hitting a six off the fourth ball of Harshal Patel. He did not take any run on the fifth ball and justified the decision to keep the strike with him by hitting a six on the sixth ball.

Harshal Patel, while returning to the pavilion, probably said something to Riyan Parag, due to which there was a tussle between the two players. However, another player from Rajasthan Royals also defended between the two. But Parag had already done his job for his team.
