Riyan Parag’s superb fifty guide RR beat RCB by 29 runs, Move on the top of the table

The 39th league match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

In which the team of Rajasthan Royals won this match by 29 runs and won 6th in this season.

In this match for the Rajasthan Royals team, Riyan Parag played an important innings of 56 runs with the bat, while Kuldeep Sen took 4 wickets in the bowling.

Riyan Parag’s innings took the team to a fighting score

Royal Challengers Bangalore team captain Faf du Plessis decided to bowl first after winning the toss in this match. After which Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler, who came out to open the innings for Rajasthan Royals, could not give the team a better start in this match.

In which the team got the first blow on the score of 11 in the form of Padikkal, while after reaching the score of 33, Rajasthan got the second blow in the form of Ravi Ashwin who went on to make 17 runs in 9 balls.

After this, the team got the third blow on the same score in the form of Jos Buttler, due to which there was a lot of pressure on the batting of Rajasthan Royals. From here a short partnership was seen between captain Sanju Samson and Daryl Mitchell.

In which Samson returned to the pavilion after playing a short innings of 27 runs.  From here Riyan Parag started the work of increasing the score fast while handling one end.

After which Riyan Parag remained unbeaten till the end, playing an unbeaten innings of 56 runs in 31 balls with the help of 3 fours and 4 sixes, helping his team to score 144 for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Siraj, Hazlewood and Hasaranga took 2-2 wickets in this match for Royal Challengers Bangalore side.

RCB team could not achieve the target due to loss of wickets at frequent intervals

Although the score of 145 can be said to be quite easy in the T20 format, but the way the RCB team got started, it gave Rajasthan Royals full opportunity to build their pressure in this match.

RCB got the first blow on the score of 10 in the form of Virat Kohli who went on to make just 9 runs.  After which in the 7th over of the innings, the team got 2 big setbacks in 2 consecutive balls.

Kuldeep Sen put the pressure on RCB by first hitting Faf du Plessis and then Glenn Maxwell for a golden duck. From here the pressure of run-rate was seen increasing with the team losing wickets at frequent intervals.

Dinesh Karthik was also run out after scoring just 6 runs. In the bowling for Rajasthan, Kuldeep Sen took 4 wickets while Ashwin took 3 and famous Krishna took 2 wickets.
