Nobody in the Reds will extort 29-year-old Mohamed Salah for a lucrative new contract, says English football manager Robbie Fowler, with Liverpool legend that world-class talent deserves a record deal amid talk of £ 500,000 a week.

A little about the topic

Mohamed Salah is already tied for summer 2023, but those on Merseyside are keen to introduce an extension and avoid any unwanted transfer talk. Robbie would be stunned if the offer was not put on the table, and if someone in the ranks of Klopp’s starts asking questions about why the multiple Golden Boot winner makes more than they do.

What did Fowler say about Mohamed Salah?

Former Red striker Robbie Fowler stated that Mohamed Salah is, without question, world class. And, Fowler thinks there won’t be a single dissenting voice in the Reds’ room about the Egyptian being awarded a new contract that will make him the club’s highest earner. In all honesty, they end up with a great relationship with him, especially after that goal against Man City, which had little of everything.

If it was Ronaldo or Messi, there would be even more talk about it. There were brilliant touches in tight spaces, body strength, pace, a bit of guile and then a glorious finish. Robbie will be amazed if there is no talk of a new contract now. Salah will almost certainly believe that he is worth a little more than he earns, and of course is eligible for a pay raise. Robbie Fowler also said that of course there have been instances of room dressing in the past where some players got upset that a person was earning more than others.

But, in this case, Liverpool must understand that Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the world right now, whether they like it or not, and with all that it brings. Having been in the many dressing rooms from the player’s perspective, Robbie honestly doesn’t think there will be any problems with Salah becoming easily the best paid player at Anfield. Will not, Oh, Mohamed Salah does not deserve this because he is an average player. Never.
