A move back to Inter became the most likely destination for Romelu Lukaku and his lawyer explored the possibility of an agreement with the Serie A side.

The coach is sure that the decision in the summer will be correct. According to Roberto Martinez in Belgium they are quite relaxed with Lukaku’s situation. Martinez knows this is a big topic, but at the moment Lukaku is trying to recover from an injury and that’s the only thing he has in mind.

The Blues are open to allowing a player to leave after a season in which Romelu Lukaku scored 15 goals in 44 matches across all competitions. The PL side is open to a loan agreement but would charge a fee of around €25 million for it. Meanwhile Romelu is open to accepting a pay cut of around 40 percent to get away from the London team. The Blues are already eyeing replacements for him with Man City player Gabriel Jesus on their radar.
