Vinicius Junior was not there for Elche clash
Vinicius was not there at Real Madrid-Elche, but Rodrygo was in his place and the white team did not notice it. Quite the contrary, Madrid’s offensive performance against the Elche team was excellent and much of the danger came from the left side of the Madrid attack, with the former Santos player carrying out the tasks that his friend usually performs, sanctioned against Elche for accumulating yellow cards. Against Osasuna, Vini will return and Rodrygo will have to find his life at another point of the attack. They are two geniuses for Ancelotti, who would like to have two left wings to get all the tricks out of them.
Rodrygo’s perfect performance
Rodrygo’s performance against Elche had a tragic point: he did everything and he did everything well, and despite this he left without seeing the goal. And it would not be for lack of attempts: he made four shots, all four on goal, and in all of them he met Edgar Badía to deny him the goal. But, with everything, he was influential on the scoreboard: he caused the 3-0 penalty and overwhelmed Elche from the beginning, in the race or in the dry overflow. He made 59 good passes out of 61 (impressive numbers for a winger), recovered two balls, dished out five assists not ending in goal, won 9 games out of 14 and successfully dribbled 5 out of 9 attempts.
