Romelu Lukaku is unhappy with Tuchel’s system
Romelu Lukaku has expressed disappointment with the current Blues system and admits that he would like to return to Serie A.
What did Romelu Lukaku say?
The Belgian footballer admits that he is not happy with his current position in Chelsea. Lukaku is returning to full training, limiting himself to just five Premier League appearances since mid-October due to injury and an outbreak of coronavirus. The Belgian striker, who has scored five times in 13 Premier League appearances, feels he is not happy with the current system occupied by coach Tuchel.
However, the Belgian forward has pledged to return to his best form for the Blues. Romelu Lukaku said that physically he is fine, even better than before. After two years in Italy, in which Lukaku has worked extensively at Inter with coaches and nutritionists, he is physically fine.
But Lukaku is not happy with the situation at Chelsea, that’s okay. Romelu thinks the coach chose a game with a different system, Romelu just has to not give up, keep working and be a professional. According to Romelu Lukaku, he is not happy with the situation, but he is a worker and he should not give up.
Lukaku hopes to return to Inter
Romelu returned to Stamford Bridge after a lucky spell with Inter, leaving months after they secured the Serie A title in 11 years. Lukaku admits that he regrets how the move was handled as his departure angered fans, but he is open to returning to the Italian top flight in the future. Romelu Lukaku added that he thinks that everything that happened should not have happened like this.
How he left Inter, how he communicated with the fans, it worries him, because now is not the right time, but even when he left, it was not the time. Lukaku now considers it correct to say, because he always said that he has Inter in his heart, he will return to play there, he really hopes for it. Lukaku is in love with Italy, this is a fair time to talk and let people know what really happened, not to speak badly about people because he is not like that.
The 28-year-old went on to say that he first wants to apologize to Inter fans because he believes the way he left should have been different. At first he had to talk to them, because what they did for him, for his family, for his mother, for his son is what is left for him in life. According to Romelu Lukaku, he really hopes deep down to return to Inter, not at the end of his career, but at a good level, so that he hopes to win more.
