Over exaggerated Royal Challengers Bangalore loses the match despite odds being in their favour. With this victory, Rajasthan Royals’s 2 years winless drought against Royal Challengers Bangalore ended.
Rajasthan Royals, batting first, scored 144 runs with help of magnificent half century by Riyan Parag. At one stage, it looked that Rajasthan Royals will not reach the score of 125 but the last over became the turning point of the match. Riyan scored 21 runs off it.
144 was still achievable, however, the troubling start soon made the match equally poised. As match progressed, Royal Challengers Bangalore kept losing wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin was the pioneer of this bowling domination with a figure of 17 for 2 in. 4 overs. The newly recruited Kuldeep Sen bagged his first 4-fer in a memorable match.
