In the 53rd IPL match where the Hosts KKR faced off against the Visitors PBKS in a last-ball thriller contest. Shikhar Dhawan-led PBKS scored 179 runs after winning the toss first against Nitish Rana-led KKR on Monday.

The left-spinner Rahul Chahar got him caught out by Livingstone on the long-off while going Ariel’s route. After this, Rana scored 50 off 37, but he returned to the pavilion on the very next ball. Livingstone also caught Rana’s catch on Rahul Chahar’s ball. In the last over, Russell played a blistering inning of 42 off 23 balls before taking KKR to cross the line for them. The left-handed batter Rinku Singh scored 21 off 10 balls and Shardul remained unbeaten without opening the account.

When KKR needed 6 off 6 balls Rinku Singh was the star for KKR in this win who smacked a boundary on the last ball of the match when the Riders needed 2 off 1 ball and guided his side to cross the line. With the win KKR stands in 5th place with 5 wins out of 11 matches, and PBKS moved to 7th in the points table following this defeat.
