In response, despite Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s 137-run innings from Bangladesh’s side, the team was reduced to a score of 298.

After which the South African team got a vital lead of 69 runs on the basis of the first innings and the team managed to score 204 in their second innings due to captain Dean Elgar’s innings of 64 runs.

Due to which Bangladesh’s team got a target of 274 runs to win this match, which in any sense cannot be called an easy task on the Durban pitch.

After this, the feat of 2 spin bowlers playing for the South African team was seen in the last innings of this match, in which Keshav Maharaj took 7 wickets in his name, while Simon Harmer got 3 wickets in his account.

Due to which Bangladesh team’s second innings was reduced to just 53 runs in this match and they had to face defeat by 220 runs.
