Inter defeated Parma 2-1 on Thursday night to take a six-point advantage after Parma held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw. Conte, who seems very happy, lauds the team mentality and his democratic approach.

“I think I’m a very democratic coach, in the sense that I don’t give anything to anyone,” Conte said.

“There is a team and the individual comes later,” he stated.

“Sanchez is in the best condition we’ve ever seen him. And now Romelu and Lautaro know that Sanchez is right behind them too.

“I’m happy because my kids are showing great application and resilience,” he continued.

Inter has notably improved under Conte, who has led them to second place in his first season in charge.

“The improvement over last year is obvious, but there are 13 games left and in Serie A each is a battle,” Conte warned.

Although Romelu Lukaku was not on target, he had a role in both the goals. His former Manchester United teammate Sanchez was high on the not when Lukaku was out of bullets. Their combination gave Antonio Conte’s side a sixth consecutive league win.

The Chilean international has so far netted five goals this season one more than last season’s total tally. Sanchez admits he has a passion to play always and avails his accrued experience to the coach.

The goals were Sanchez,s first brace in Inter jersey as the former Arsenal star finally got a breakthrough.

“I’m like a lion that always wants to play but I make my experience available to the coach,” Sanchez said.

“We have to fight for the Scudetto,” he added.

“The players have grown a lot, since we lost the Europa League final we have improved a lot,” he continued. “We are overcoming those steps that Inter were missing.”

Inter are now on the brink of ending the Scudetto drought they last won a decade ago. With the rest of Serie A clubs still struggling for form, Conte’s side enjoys a good run on form and is now in a strong position.
